Our covid-19 safety measures

Your safety and health are always imortant to us - but this year especially, of course.

We start in the season on 18th of December 2021!

Your health is the priority

Here are our COVID-19 safety measures for the ski resort

From 15th of November, 2021 a 2G-obligation will apply to cable car trasportation. This means that only persons who can prove that they have been "vaccinated" or "convalesced" will be allowed to skiing.

FFP2 masks are compulsory in all areas where people are employed and in all enclosed means of transport.
The 2-G proof is controlled at the ticket sale. The ski pass may only be activated for the maximum period of validity of the respective proof.

When a ticket is purchased, the 2G proof is checked. In addition, random checks will take place.

- You can either have your ticket manually activated at the ticket office for the validity period of the proof.
- At the ticket machine: There will be an item "Covid check" there.
- Or in advance from the comfort of your own home via GreenPassCheck.

The prerequisite for the link is the ticket holder's consent to the storage of the validity period of the proof. Without this consent, the ticket will only be activated for the current day.

If you have a valid 2-G proof with QR code and a charged ski pass, you can link and activate it at any time via GreenPassCheck.

No, a neutralized antibody test is not considered 2G detection.

Children up to the age of 12 do not need to have a G certificate.

From the completed 12th year of age, a 2G proof is generally required.
But: For children between the ages of 12 and 15, a Corona Test Pass (Ninja Pass for school children in Austria) also counts as 2G proof on Saturdays and Sundays of the test week.
During school vacations, a negative PCR test must be presented for children between 12 and 15 years of age.

Here more infos about the holiday-ninja-pass for kids!

Covid-19 safety measures for the ski school grossglockner/Heiligenblut

Entry to the ski school office is possible only in compliance with the 2G rule. Guests and visitors are required to wear FFP-2 masks. We ask our guests to enter only when the counter is free and then to leave the office through a separate exit.

A skiing course can be booked on arrival, but of course it is also possible to book the ski course in advance online. Please ask for information at the ski school of choice by telephone or e-mail.

The limitation of the group size to 12 or maximum temporarily 15 results from the regulations of the ski school laws. Of course we try to minimize the group sizes.

The assembly points are distributed as generously as possible in terms of space. Course schedules and lunchtime supervision are planned in such a way that large group gatherings are avoided. Mouth and nose protection is mandatory if the minimum distance is not observed - even outdoors.

Admission only after checking the 2-G rule.

When using the cable cars, the corresponding regulations must be observed (e.g. mandatory wearing of a face covering).

The staff at the cable cars, ski school and restaurants are regularly instructed according to uniform guidelines and regulations about the Covid-19 safety measures at the ski resort.

On the ski school premises and at the restaurants, the teaching material, equipment and toys are disinfected and cleaned several times a day.

Children from toddler age are taught at Snowland – as it is difficult to maintain distance here, the ski instructors wear face masks.

Ski instructors and staff are regularly tested with PCR.
