Summit run

Alpine ski race with 1500 meters difference in altitude!

Already for the 84th time, the Kasberg summit run will take place on Monday, 7th March 2021. It is organized by the USC Asmag Grünau/Kasberg ski club.

A special feature of this alpine ski race is the course, which is run from the summit of the Kasberg at 1747 metres, depending on snow conditions, to the valley of Grünau at 550 metres.

Due to the difference in altitude of about 1500 meters, the mountain demands quite a bit of fitness and endurance from the participants, as there are also uphill passages to be completed continuously.

There is a separate classification for touring skiers. The start is only allowed with a full rucksack, helmets are compulsory. Starting time: 9 am, ascent to the Sepp-Huber-Hütte from 7 am for runners with a start number.

Entry fee 15 Euro
