The circular tour on the Unterberg is all about taking a deep breath, recharging your batteries and enjoying your free time in nature! The Gipfelhaus and the Bärenhütte invite you to stop for a tasty bite to eat, while the magnificent panoramic views will make you go into raptures.
The route: The starting point of the circular tour is the mountain station of the cable car. From there, you walk along the valley hiking route to the "Rundweg" junction. A somewhat steeper section leads up to the summit house on the panoramic trail. You then reach the Bärenhütte and take the comfortable cable car back down to the valley.
Hiking tip: circular tour into the valleyThe circular tour can also be done in the opposite direction. At 3.5 hours, the hike takes a little longer, but the tour can be classified as "easy". A forest path leads down to Kössen.
