Summit hike on the Unterberg

Walking time: approx. 2.5 - 4 hours (depending on the route)
Difficulty level: difficult

Get up early in the morning, climb up to the Unterberghorn and enjoy a hearty snack at the summit cross with a wonderful view. A mountain tour is undoubtedly the supreme discipline in hiking. Once at the summit, hikers are rewarded with views of the breathtaking Tyrolean mountain landscape.

The route: From the cable car exit, the trail leads past the summit house to the top of the Unterberghorn at an altitude of 1,800 meters. The way back leads via the Bärenhütte to the top station of the cable car.

If you prefer a more challenging route, take the narrow path towards Lackalm in Niederhausertal. Allow four hours for this route.
