Hiking At Großglockner

You'd like to experience deep gorges and wide valleys? You will find both in the hiking resort at Großglockner! Follow 40 kilometres of hiking trails along Hohe Tauern Nature Reserve or along the main chain of the Alps.
Tip: Do you want to get in shape for the Großglockner Trail Race? Take the gondola to Rossbach mid-station. There “Naturgefahrentrail” leads you up to Schareck. The perfect training for the trail race. You will find a trail race measuring station at Schareck Panorama Restaurant.
Useful info: The first leg of Alpe-Adria-Trail starts directly at the glacier lift at Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe!
Catering for those who prefer solid ground: Enjoy the scent of summery alpine meadows inviting you to go on a picnic there. Get your picnic basket directly at Schareck Panorama Restaurant.
