In the depths of the Bohemian Forest
3 mountains, lots of nature & breathtaking scenery
In the border triangle of Austria, the Czech Republic and Germany
The Hochficht is a winter sports area that extends over the three neighboring mountains Zwieselberg (1163 m above sea level), Reischlberg (1281 m above sea level) and Hochficht (1338 m above sea level). Depending on the weather, the season lasts until the end of March or the beginning of April (depending on Easter). The ski area offers 12 pistes with a total length of around 20 km as well as two ski routes. These are accessible via two T-bar lifts and three 4-seater chairlifts. Since 2017, the modern 10-seater gondola lift - the Reischlbergbahn - has been transporting winter sports enthusiasts up the Reischlberg in two sections.
The longest descent is the Stierwiesen descent from Hochficht, followed by the FIS descent, on which FIS races are held every year. Most of the slopes (55%) have an easy level of difficulty. The valley station is located at an altitude of around 900 m. There are also six cross-country ski trails with a total length of around 165 km, three of which can be used free of charge. This varied offer makes the Hochficht an ideal destination for winter sports enthusiasts.
