June 13 – October 4, 2026 | October 24 – November 1, 2026
Weekend operation funicular in fall:
October 10 & 11 | October 17 & 18
Operating hours funicular:
from 8:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. and from 01:00 p.m. to 04:30 p.m.
Starting at 9:00 a.m., one trip every 20 minutes (no departure at 12:40 p.m.)
Operating hours double chairlift Frauenkar:
From June 13 to September 27, 2026, every Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, and on holidays
9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Wurzeralm ticket office opening hours:
Always open during funicular operating hours.

Summer operation on the Wurzeralm
Take the cable car up the mountain
In winter, the Wurzeralm is an authentic family ski area. In summer, it mainly attracts hikers and mountain bikers to the fresh mountain air. Let yourself be tempted to exercise in the midst of beautiful nature! The funicular and the Frauenkar lift take you up the mountain at the following times.
