Summer operation on the Wurzeralm
Take the cable car up the mountain
In winter, the Wurzeralm is an authentic family ski area. In summer, it mainly attracts hikers and mountain bikers to the fresh mountain air. Let yourself be tempted to exercise in the midst of beautiful nature! The funicular and the Frauenkar lift take you up the mountain at the following times.
Opening hours summer 2026
Daily operation:
June 13 – October 6, 2026 | October 24 – November 1, 2026
Autumn operation:
October 10 & 11 | October 17 & 18
Operating hours funicular:
from 8:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. and from 01:00 p.m. to 04:30 p.m.
Starting at 9:00 a.m., one trip every 20 minutes
Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays until 05:00 p.m.
Operating hours double chairlift Frauenkar:
June 16 – September 27, 2026
Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, from 9:05 AM – 3:30 PM, open only in good weather.
Wurzeralm ticket office opening hours:
Always open during funicular operating hours.
