But when does the mountain summer actually start in the Pyhrn-Priel region and from when to when are the lifts open every day? We have summarized all the important information for you briefly and concisely.
Opening hours summer 2026
Daily Operation of the Hössbahn:
June 20 – September 13, 2026 | October 24 – November 1
Operating Hours of the Hössbahn Gondola:
9:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Daily Operation of the Höss-Express:
July 10 – September 13, 2026
October 24 – November 1
Höss-Express Chairlift Operating Hours:
9:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Weekend Operation:
May 23–25 | May 30–31 | June 4–7 | June 13–14 (Hössbahn only)
Sept. 19–20 | Sept. 26–27 | Oct. 3–4 | Oct. 10–11 | Oct. 17–18 (Hössbahn & Höss-Express)
Ticket Office Hours in Hinterstoder:
The ticket office in the valley and the ticket office at the Höss-Express valley station are open during the cable car's operating hours.
Except from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.: No ticket office open. Tickets are available during this time at the ticket machine via card payment!
A little tip for even more summer fun: the Pyhrn-Priel Card!
With the Pyhrn-Priel Season Card or Pyhrn-Priel Active Card, you can head straight to the lift stations without any hassle—no need to exchange your card at the ticket office!
All lift rides are free with the Pyhrn-Priel Card during summer operating hours. (Excluding special rides)
Operating hours are subject to change; closures due to weather or maintenance are reserved!
