Do you fancy high gorges and wide valleys? You'll find both in the Großglockner hiking area! Over 40 kilometers of hiking trails lead through the Hohe Tauern National Park or along the main Alpine ridge.
Tip: Do you want to train for the Großglockner mountain run? Take the gondola to the Rossbach middle station and from there the natural hazard trail will take you to the Schareck. Perfect training for the mountain run. There's also a start measuring station at the Schareck panorama restaurant.
Good to know: The first stage of the Alpe-Adria-Trail starts directly at the glacier lift on the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe!
