Up to an altitude of 2,902 meters, you can take the lift up to Austria's highest mountain at a leisurely pace. THAT is exactly the altitude when you take your first step out of the mountain station. Impressive, isn't it? The panorama around you stretches for miles into the snow-covered Alps. Over 40 three-thousand-metre peaks lie side by side in a row.

Out of the cable car and onto the slopes! Then it's time to take your first turn on the white splendor over 55 perfectly groomed kilometers of pistes. You'll find all levels of difficulty, from moderate beginner slopes to downhill runs for experienced alpine pros.
And so that you can get back up the mountain quickly and start your next skiing adventure, there are 11 lifts at your disposal.

Did you know that the freeride arena on the Großglockner covers an area the size of 2,000 soccer pitches? The deep snow paradise in Carinthia attracts numerous powder fans and action specialists to the powdery slopes every year.
