Take a trail run through cool woods past  flowery meadows and up to high alpine terrain towards Schrocken Mountain.  Hinterstoder features nine trails of all levels of difficulty suitable for both expert mountain runners and families.

HÖss Totale

One run - from bottom to top

Steep and long climb from the bottom station to the highest point of the ski resort. The route features an average gradient of 16%. Technically very demanding with roots and stones along the trail. 

#1 Longest stretch of Höss Totale with very steep passages. Mostly along hiking trails but many technical passages and only few flat parts. Mostly through the wood and in the shade.

#2 The second part is the steepest with an average climb of 17%. In the beginning flat but two-third of the run is very steep.

#3 This last stretch leads to 1,990m, it is relatively short and moderately steep. The trail to Schafkögel is worthwhile for its stunning view.

Hutterer Böden Routes

for beginners and families

Route 1: Hutterer Böden Family
Trail running route suitable for families and children. Flat tour with only moderate climbs. The length of the route can also be managed by beginners. Terrain mostly forest roads and streets.

Route 2: Hutterer Böden Light 
Beginner route for those who want to start trail running. Flat at the beginning, with KM 2 technically more challenging and steeper passages.

Route 3: Hutterer Böden
More demanding trail run with technically more difficult passages. The steepest climb features a gradient of 16% on 1,6 km. Downhill along forest roads.

Höss Alpin Routes

Trail Running with more “mountain”

 

Start at 1860m at the mountain station of 6-person Höss-Express lift. 

Route 1: Höss Alpine Light
Very  varied  trail with uphill and downhill stretches demanding technical skills. Suitable for slightly advanced runners.  

Route 2: Höss Alpine
Very alpine trail at 1.990 metres with some single trails. Steepest climb is 12% along 1.1 km.
